Our Services

Our clients have come to us for a variety of reasons.  Some wanted help with their overall financial approach.  Some were nearing retirement and wanted to fine tune what they were doing to reflect their approaching retirement.  Others came because they were actually retiring and they needed to know what to do with the money they had accumulated in their employer's 401(k) plan and/or other employer sponsored retirement plans.  Still others came because they were already retired and needed help with their investments to provide retirement income and keep pace with inflation.  And, we also have clients who came to us because they had money that they needed to invest or investments that needed to be reviewed and/or changed. Whether you fall into one or more of the above scenarios, we can help.  Our services include financial planning, retirement planning, investment planning and management, tax planning and estate conservation.

However, our specialty is 401(k) rollovers, IRAs, IRA transfers, retirement income and portfolio management.  All of these areas of specialization involve investments.  If you are looking towards a successful retirement, investments may play a pivotal role in getting you to retirement successfully and timely.  If you are retiring and moving your money out of your employer's 401(k) plan and/or any other employer sponsored retirement plans, investments need to be selected for this money that reflect your retirement income needs and objectives.  If you are already retired, investments may play an important role in keeping you ahead of inflation and providing retirement income as needed.  If you have money that needs to be invested, selecting investments whose objectives match your objectives is important in terms of meeting your goals and addressing your acceptable level of risk.  Our investment planning may address the minimization of income taxes and estate taxes within the framework of meeting your specific needs and objectives

(Note:  If you are presently retiring and have money in your employer's 401(k) plan and/or any other employer sponsored retirement plan(s), you will want to go back to our home page and click on "What Should I do With My 401(k) Money?".)

We have a branch office of a full service brokerage firm, Crown Capital Securities, L.P. which allows us to assist our clients in implementing our recommendations for those who want that service.  By implementing our recommendations through us, it allows us to monitor the investment(s) and provide a quarterly portfolio valuation statement to our clients.  It also allows our clients access to their portfolios through this web site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

We have many investments from which to choose.  1Some feature guarantees of your principal while allowing you to invest in the stock market or participate in an index such as the *Standard & Poor's 500 without fear of loss.  1Some guarantee a lifetime income that you cannot out live.  All guarantees are based on the financial strength and claims paying ability of the issuing insurance company, who is solely responsible for all obligations under its policies.

1An alternative investments strategy is subject to a number of risks and is not suitable for all investors.  Investing in alternative investments is only intended for experienced and sophisticated investors who are willing to bear the high economic risk associated with such an investment.  Investors should carefully review and consider potential risks before investing.

2The application of surrender charges could result in a loss of principal.  Investment return based on the performance of a stock market based index may be capped in some investments.

*It is not possible to invest directly into an index.  The Standard & Poor’s (S&P) 500 Index is comprised of 500 widely traded industrial, transportation, financial and public utility stocks and is used as a benchmark.
